Attorney Gale was born in Hartford in 1951. He was the first generation son of an Italian immigrant whose family name changed from Gallucci to Gale before he was born.
He attended Hartford Public School and attended law school at the University of Connecticut School of Law after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania.
His home is in Hartford, situated in the metropolitan area. John is visible in politics, a supporter of arts, a neighborhood advocate, and a community leader. He is occasionally found playing bluegrass mandolin at a local fiddle festival.
