Attorney Poirier was born in 1983 and raised in New Hartford, CT. He is the first generation son of a French Canadian immigrant. He attended New Hartford Public Schools during his elementary years and then attended St. Paul Catholic High School. 

He received his undergrad degree from St. Michael’s College in Vermont and then went on to attend law school in Rhode Island at Roger Williams University School of Law. He presently lives in West Hartford, CT.

He currently focuses on bankruptcy, real estate, landlord/tenant and housing law and personal injury. He is also an avid hockey fan and maintains dual citizenship in both the United States and Canada.
